Whether you're visiting for the first time, or returning to view my latest work, I am honored and thankful that you've allowed me to share my passion for photography with you.
I grew up in Richmond, Virginia in a traditionally Jewish household. I received my formal education from Georgia Tech in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. I work full-time as a mechanical engineer just north of Atlanta. Whether it be in engineering, design, music, art and photography, I've always had a creative mind and been one-of-a-kind and unique in my style for creating art. I believe that is why I've been told I have a unique style of photography.
I've become a professional free-lance photographer in Atlanta, Georgia. Through my passion for photography, I know that I have a special eye for it. I have diligently self-taught myself about photography and digital photography. I am active in the Atlanta Photography Community and network with local Atlanta photography talent and groups.
If you have come looking for a traditional studio photographer, you've come to the wrong place. I am most interested in shooting ON LOCATION (indoors and outdoors) as opposed to shooting in a studio; I prefer the natural and colorful backgrounds using natural outdoor lighting . I like thinking more outside the box and shoot in my own personal and unique perspectives. I enjoy shooting in abandoned locations (houses, buildings, warehouses, etc.); the decaying walls and ceilings provide extra imagination and opportunity in photographs. I also have a profound interest in shooting people with tattoos and piercings and showing off their beautiful art. The art of tattooing is quite misunderstood, and it would be great to help change or at least educate the opinions of those who look at them in a poor or different way. More than anything, I like to have FUN on my shoots.
My work has been published in Car Kulture DeLuxe Magazine, PRICK Magazine (July & August 2010), RETRO Lovely Magazine (Issue #4), Diablo Organics 2010 Calendar and has been featured on TattooSnob.com, Two Arms Inc. and Man Day 2010.
